Allows for the constant removal of vapors and gases in
Sodium Hypochlorite and Hydrogen Peroxide applications. The
new AutoPrime Valve offers many features unique in the
marketplace. The pump primes automatically and functions as
an air-gap anti-siphon valve. Pump output is regulated by
venting the discharge to atmosphere during each stroke,
eliminating the need for a back-pressure device. In
addition, it provides a vertical discharge, traditional in
pump applications.
The AutoPrime Valve offers a flow range of .08 to 5.0
milliliters per stroke with a maximum pump output of 8.0
gallons per hour. Stroke rates are 5 to 100 per minute with
a stroke length of 30 to 100%. Maximum operating pressure is
250 psi.
The new valve consists of four functional elements: the vent
check valve, discharge check valve, the anti-siphon check
valve and the return line. The vent check valve constantly
removes gases when they are drawn into the suction line of
the pump. If the pump remains idle for a length of time, the
valve allows the gases to escape into the return/vent line.
The discharge check valve allows the discharge of fluid from
the AutoPrime Valve. The design regulates the output at
lower pressures, preventing over pumping. The anti-siphon
check valve opens to atmosphere should a vacuum be
introduced, creating an air-gap condition. |
