Abstract
Position the facilities department to manage the water
treatment program in house. Reduction in overall cost will be reduced 40-50%.
Procedures will be outlined by the consultant to train and serve as a knowledge
contributor. Consultant will be responsible to keep facilities up to date with
current technology and to provide backup to situations beyond facilities
personnel knowledge base.
Process startup and continuous program support requirements
for consultant.
1)
Source chemical products – continually providing highest quality –
highest value technology for boiler pretreatment, condensate, cooling water,
closed loops, waste treatment and process coolants.
2)
Source testing supplies sufficient to evaluate all programs.
3)
Provide initial training and subsequent material to fully facilitate in
house management of the program.
4)
Implement Federal, State and local Legionella prevention practices for towers -
using OSHA, ASHRAE CTI and or AWT recommendations
5)
Consultant services will be included in all equipment inspections;
providing analysis & recommendations based on results.
6)
Visit each facility at least once a quarter for Q&A, situational analysis
along with program reviews.
7)
Provide forward moving recommendations to facility personnel and
management; incorporating the Quality Improvement Process utilizing statistical
process control in evaluation and return on investment.
8)
Investigate new technologies to help ABC reduce their dependency of
chemical additives.
